Give Yourself Permission – PB198
I want to update you on what’s been going on with me and why it’s been a little while since I released anything. Since the beginning of September, I’ve been taking some time to work on my mental health, and I feel like it’s time to candidly share what’s been going on in my life and why it was so important to me to create some space for myself.
I never want to get to a place where getting behind this microphone feels like work, I love hosting the podcast right now, and I want to make sure that going forward, Paychecks and Balances will continue to be part of my legacy.
I want to let other people know about the impact of mental health on all aspects of your life because it’s something I’ve been talking about in the podcast. If there’s something that you’ve been struggling with, struggling to accept, let go of, or do, this shows you that things can get better, and you can come out okay on the other side.
I encourage you to be alone with your thoughts, even though I just gave you this whole spiel about how scary that can be and how challenging it can be — I think it is absolutely necessary for personal professional and even your financial development. – Rich Jones
